why hello there

I'm Lorinna.
Born, raised, and lived in Houston, TX all my life. Being a stay at home is probably the coolest job I've ever had, would be cooler if I got paid for it. My sweet and sassy divas are Kylie, 3 and Lianna, 41/2.

Being a STAHM and housewife I felt I lost myself and went through a phase of soul searching and still am. I started this blog because I felt I needed something of my own, something that represented me and my love for my children, food, fashion and a distraction from the stresses of life.

The Love Life
The husband and I have been married almost 6 years, and proud to say together for a crazyness of 11 years. Like all relationships and marriages we sure had our ups and downs.

I'm also a doctor's wife which isn't as glamorous as it may sound. My husband is in the midst of finishing up his residency and sometimes I feel I hardly ever see the guy.

My Happy Mommy Accidents
"Happy Accidents" is a fav movie of mine. Who doesn't love romantic comedies and I absolutely adore Marisa Tomei. I truly believe everything happens for a reason and when tantrums cease to exist, I believe miracles can happen too.

As a mom there are 3 definite things I've learned ~
ONE I despise potty training
TWO it would mean the world to me if my children ate vegetables
and most importantly THREE PATIENCE, definitely need A LOT of that

My Secret to Staying Sane
Retail online therapy! The husband isn't too fond of that. I love fashion and pretty things for me and my girls. Dressing up is so much fun! However, I'm a frugal fashionista I'm all about looking trendy with deals and discounts.

I'm a foodie, yes I love to eat thus why my weight is never consistent. I also enjoy cooking, but cleaning that ginormous mess stresses me out. Apparently, my husband is allergic to dish washing soap.

I'm also VERY fortunate my parents AKA Super Spoil Squad are the most awesome babysitters. Currently they are my neighbors, yes literally right next door (its quite typical in Asian households) which allows me to have a mini retreat for a girls night or date night with the hubs. BUT, sadly I will be moving in the near future.

I hope you enjoy my happy mommy accidents of  life, kids, food, and fashion.

Albert Einstein once said, "Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning."
